SEPPA
Les seppa sont des rondelles métalliques qui encadrent la tsuba (la garde) et évitent les frottements dommageables de celle-ci sur le fuchi et le habaki.
Les seppa permettent également de régler le calage des montures, lorsque une tsuba d’épaisseur différente est montée sur le sabre.
Ces éléments sont réalisés en métal tendre comme le cuivre, le laiton, l’argent ou même en or. Ils peuvent être très simple ou avec une bordure guillochée.
Je vous propose des seppa standard en cuivre ou en laiton ou des seppa réalisés sur mesure, en laiton ou en argent massif.
The seppa are metal washers which frame the tsuba (the guard) and avoid the damaging friction between the fuchi and the habaki.
The seppa also allow the setting of the mounts to be adjusted, when a tsuba of different thickness is mounted on the sword.
These elements are made of soft metal such as copper, brass, silver or even gold. They can be very simple or with a guilloche border.
I offer standard seppa in copper or brass (1 mm thick) or custom made seppa in brass or solid silver (2 mm tick) with special guilloche.
